Although tootoot is a pseudo-anonymous platform, you can find out who a student is if you think they/or someone else is in danger or you are concerned for their welfare.

If you are a head mentor...

  1. Log in to your mentor account and click on the case.

  2. Click the reveal button and then OK

  3. The student's name will then appear at the top of the page.

If you are a mentor...

You will need to get permission from the admin of your school's tootoot to reveal the student's identity.

  1. Log in to your mentor account and click on the case.

  2. Click reveal and add a note explaining why you would like to reveal the identity.

  3. Click send request

  4. Wait for the admin to approve your request (you will be notified of this)

If you are an admin...

To find out the identity of a student you will need the student ID number, which you can find on the case.

  1. Log in to your admin account

  2. Type the student ID number into the user ID search box

  3. Click search users and the student's name will appear below
